You can pass through CAT control with the experimental SatPC32 integration if you are using the windows version of Pycom Radio Controller.
Configuration
The integration uses a com0com null modem emulation COM port pair. In the screenshot below you can see that I've set up COM30 and COM31 with the 'Use Ports class' checkbox ticked.
From the Settings / Configuration menu item in Pycom select the 'Virtual COM Port' tab, enter one side of the port pair you've just set up, in my case COM30 and press the 'Start Server' button.
Start SatPC32 and from the Setup / Radio Setup menu item add the following configuration.
- Model: IC-9700
- Baudrate: 115200
- Addressess: $A2 $A2
- COM-Port: COM31
- CAT Delay: 500
- Check Satellite Mode

From the CAT menu item add the following configuration in the interval section to reduce the chatter between SatPC32 and Pycom. SatPC32 is very aggressive and too many updates can slow things down too much.
- SSB/CW: 50
- FM/PKT: 200
